I only went to pick out some new glasses, as I already had a prescription. Staff was very friendly and professional. I had an overall pleasant experience here and even when I had an issue with my frames needing adjusted a few weeks after I had them made, they were able to get it taken care of quickly. I will definitely be returning when I need new glasses.
Great service! One of the owners himself became a provider under my plan so that I can be seen and get my glasses! Professional and fast service, got my glasses really quick. They really care about their patients. I will def return!
Visiting Huntington from out of town, one of the earpieces to my eyeglasses broke. I taped it together but could not see well, I was getting a headache. Something had to be done! I was referred to Sturgeons by another optician who said they might be up to the job. The fellow working the front desk said they could find another earpiece but it might not exactly match. Go ahead, I said; I'm trying to see, not look perfect; but I bet a lot of folks do have vanity about these things. Quickly within 10 minutes, they replaced the ear piece and my specs were good as new--for only $10! The bonus: the waiting room had a book by a West Virginia poet, Kirk Judd, who I'd personally hung out with at bygone writers events! I dare other optical offices to match this one!
