If you’re reading this, stop looking for a tailor/seamstress and go to Megan at The Stitchery. She is incredible. Long winded explanation of how she saved my wedding suit coming next, but seriously, the 5 star reviews here are extremely real and you can believe every word.
So here’s what happened: me and my wife (then fiancee) wanted me to wear a dark green suit for our wedding. We struggled to find one in my size, the closest we could get was one size up, so we ordered it and the establishment that we got it from assured us they could tailor it to fit. Megan is AMAZING! She turned my grandmother’s 71 year old wedding dress into my dream dress, and it turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. I was worried about how the vintage fabric and fragile lace would hold up, but Megan’s creativity and careful touch was exactly what I needed. She is thorough, friendly, and super talented. I would 100% recommend The Stitchery.

Megan did the alterations on my wedding dress, and I can't recommend her enough! She was super kind, accommodating, and professional, and I loved the end result. My dress fitted me very well off the rack, but there's always details that need to be taken care of to get a perfect fit. She fixed the bust and back, took in the sides on the top, and added a bustle. Her work was excellent. Also, it was a last decision micro wedding, so she did all this in record time. Thank you!
