We have used Superior Boarding Suites in the past and have always been happy. We recently boarded our two dogs with different dietary needs there. Their food was clearly labeled, I gave detailed instructions and was assured my dogs would be fed accordingly. When we picked them up, they had fed my shih tzu the wrong food resulting in him being sick for days. I inquired as to what had happened and I didn't hear back so I had to follow-up myself. I was told that they could not "pinpoint" what had happened but the staff "was spoken to". I don't know if there has been a change in staffing, but I will never bring my animals there again.

my 14 year old dog was very sick, I had 2 vets for him, 1 in duluth and superior animal hospital...he had a collapsed esophagus and a tumor pushing on his lungs, he could not breathe and he was suffering. I called superior animal hospital for help weeks in advance. (my duluth vet closed) I understand they were booked up as everyone is, but I insisted my dog was suffering and I didnt want him to suffer any longer, no one there would help me, I called numerous vets to have someone help my poor old sick dog not suffer any longer, no one could help...my dog died gasping for air yesterday and it was brutal to watch helplessly and for my 16 year old and I to experience. We have been bringing all of our animals there and have decided to switch. I am disabled and have had to reschedule two of my pets exams mind you I was just there yesterday with my pup but was informed today because it was the second reschedule I had to do within a year "because my pain levels will not allow me to leave the house," That in order to make the appointment I would have to pay 50.00 up front per pet I was bringing in that day. Mind you we have used them for 5 spay and neuters this year and regular exams, but your loyalty means nothing to them if you are disabled and call 3 hours ahead of time to reschedule due to your own physical disabilities.
