I went to Dr. Skow because I was having trouble getting quality sleep because of the way I mouth breathe while sleeping. She recommended using mouth tape while sleeping. I was skeptical at first, but instantly noticed a change in the quality of my sleep.
I used to sweat a lot, wake up with a dry mouth, have less energy, and make my wife angry by keeping her awake with my mouth breathing. All those issues have been solved!
I will definitely be moving forward with additional advice and treatment. Thanks Dr. Skow!
Krissy, definitely could tell that I probably had sleep apnea by, just looking at my face and nose. I was there for my dentist appointment, and she was asking me if I ever had a sleep study done, I said no. Then I talked to my doctor and had one and I got my sleep machine, I stay awake all day. Before this I would fall asleep in the chair after lunch and I was always tired so I was drinking coffee more than normal.. to help keep me awake.. this sleep machine is working very well for me and I am getting oxygen level back up to where they should be. Highly recommend Dr Skow. She was recommended to us by my infant’s pediatrician and my cousin after her two son’s tongue tie procedures. My daughter had a posterior tongue tie that was restricting her eating habits, and after meeting with Dr Skow, we learned both cheeks had a tie as well! I was devastated, because after spending a week in the NICU after our daughter was born (from delivery complications), I just didn’t know how I was going to be able to afford this procedure since I didn’t put my daughter on dental insurance.
