My review is belated, but necessary. I was recently reminded of the excellent service extended to me and my family after the death of my Mother nearly 14 years ago when planning the funeral of a very close friend in Colorado. My mother passed unexpectedly and her body had been brought to Schmidt and Schulta where they tried charging us $4,000 for a basic cremation no services. We found this funeral home and were quoted well below that $4k cost and had the body brought to Buettgen. When we arrived they immediately showed us an itemized list of the cost and breakdown, in addition to giving us advice on how to proceed from here with closing bank accounts, handling any assets etc. They even informed us we may be eligible for the state to pay the funeral cost since my mother was on disability and a low income earner, whereas the other funeral home told us we have no options and we'd be forced to...read full review

I had a very positive experience with this funeral home after my mom passed away. They have extremely kind and understanding staff. John was especially kind. I'm glad I went with them.
