About Kettle Hills Golf Course
Kettle Hills Golf Course, founded by Don Zimmermann, offers 45 holes of golf with three distinct 9-hole courses: Ponds and Woods, Valley, and Rolling. The course features well-maintained fairways and greens, with some challenging holes that require precise shots. The design and layout of the holes take advantage of the rolling hills, providing good elevation changes and gentle slopes. While the pro shop and bar area are smaller, the service is excellent, with friendly staff, good food, and great bartenders. The course is reasonably priced, making it a great destination for golfers of all levels. The Valley 18 is picturesque and very hilly, and it is not recommended to walk it. The Ponds and Woods course can be narrow at times, with lots of steep hills and slopey greens. The condition of the course is decent, although some areas have thin grass. There is a Range, but it is irons only (<225yds). Golfers should be cautious as one hole runs parallel to the parking lot. Sliced shots can easily land in the parking lot, posing a risk to vehicles. Despite these concerns, the overall experience at Kettle Hills Golf Course remains enjoyable, and the management is responsive to any issues that arise. With its natural beauty and rustic charm, it continues to be a favorite among golfers.
Staff at the course is very helpful. Not to mention a very well groomed course.
