I had a real emergency with our cat in the late afternoon when I got home from work. I called 14-15 other Animal Hospitals/ Vet Clinics in a 2+ hr radius. Homestead Veterinary Care was the only place that would see her the next morning.

Gotta give a huge shout out to Homestead Veterinary Care in Rhinelander. They are not taking new patients but still squeezed my dog in yesterday who suddenly showed signs of a UTI the day before, our first morning of a two week stay at our cabin. I can’t say enough good things about Michelle at the front desk, Vet Tech Patricia and Dr. French. And how cool that Dr. French practices both traditional and TCM holistic vet medicine! I was desperate to fit in anywhere and my prospects were looking very dim but I fortunately landed on a clinic that I’d take my dogs to if we lived here year round.
