“I don’t even know where to begin other than SOOOOO thankful for Plover Family Dental Care. Let’s just say, my anxiety is through the roof when it comes to dental situations. Long story short, I’m pregnant and broke a tooth, and my nerve was exposed with an abscess beginning. I woke up with swelling, pain and knew I needed to get it fixed. My usual dentist from somewhere else was closed due to being on vacation. I was desperately calling all emergency dentists in the area. Plover Family was the ONLY one who would help me. They couldn’t get me in to do an extraction/root canal however, they called oral surgeons for me (huge shout out to Kendra for all the help!). They found one that would take me in Appleton, but I needed a referral. So they helped me get the clearance letter from my OB, and had me come in asap to get an exam so I could be referred. After Dr. Shana Francois came in to review for referral, she said the tooth needed to come out. Then, straight out said, “I’ll just do it here, by the time I send you to Appleton it would be done and you’d already be home.” I was truly in tears of happiness hearing her say this! So not only did they help me, a completely new patient that they had no obligation to help, but went truly above and beyond. The extraction was so simple and she got the abscess out perfectly with the whole tooth. She’s a wizard with the numbing and though it was rough in the nerve, she was so calming and kept me relaxed the entire time. Every single interaction with the entire staff was above and beyond incredible. I’ve never met a dental office that are so tight knit and just so beyond kind. They just got a new patient for life and I will absolutely be back! I actually look forward to it. THANK YOU Plover Family Dental Care!! 🦷“
