About St. Vincent de Paul Society
The St. Vincent de Paul Society in Oshkosh is dedicated to helping the community and fighting poverty through their sale proceeds. They offer programs for rent and utility assistance, and provide clothing, furniture, and housewares for free to those in need. The store's success is made possible by the generous donations from community members and the time given by volunteers. The selection of items is described as great, well-organized, and fairly priced. Customers appreciate the friendly and helpful workers, and the spacious and organized layout of the store. The store is considered a gem in the community, with a wide variety of items available. However, there has been a complaint about the pricing of some items and a suggestion to adjust the prices of non-essential items instead.
Way better than the Goodwill Thrift store, I usually donate things I don’t need anymore like Shirts that don’t fit me anymore or books that I finished reading that I didn’t like, I also donate console games and PC CD games that I don’t need anymore. Plus it’s a Catholic thrift store, I also got a cheap bookshelf and cheap printer shelf from this great store. Great thrift store ever.
Amazing selection of stuff and clean store but they definitely don’t have good customer service as they shut off the lights before they were even closed and before all customers were even out. Do better!
15$ for a pair of beat up airwalk shoes that are 20$ new. and then they have the audacity to put signs up that day "please stop stealing our shoes" maybe charge less for stuff you get for free. if you want people to stop stealing essentials, raise the price on the jewelry case or the glass trinkets instead.
