We have been so pleased with Country View. They came highly recommended by one of our Kennel Techs as well as our friend who is an Ag teacher at Oregon High School. Our previous vets were not experienced in large breed dogs. Not so Country View. They are very knowledgeable, patient and kind with my goofy Great Dane puppy. We recently had her spayed and tummy tacked via laparoscopic surgery. She is recovering quickly. They were very patient with all my questions and concerns before, the day of and after the surgery. In less than 12 hours after arriving home she was pretty much her fun loving self. I would highly recommend this clinic for all pets, large and small.

I have a very fearful and reactive dog, Buddy, who is terrified of people and won't let anyone get near him except me. Yesterday, I had to take Buddy to see Dr. Kasten for an ear infection. They had a room waiting for us so Buddy didn't have to wait in the lobby or in the car while his stress increases. The tech came in quickly to take a swab from Buddy's ear. This is my 3rd review of Country View Vet! So rare that I'd take the time to opine a third time about a business, but the people at CV are so caring and kind, it's prompted me to give props once again. Our cat, Norm, got very sick around holidays. Finally took him in a couple days after Christmas, fearing the worst. Not only was the clinic able to make time right away, they were patient and accommodating when we were late for our appt and were nothing but kind and friendly with us upon arrival. Medical history and symptoms gathered by the tech were beyond thorough. It's clear that the clinicians at CV are truly committed to healing animals. I think what I love the most about this clinic, is the respectful and reasonable attitude that the staff have when reviewing options with pet owners. Not everyone has the resources (or interest) in preserving their pet's life at any cost. CV gets this and takes time to reciprocally discuss options, costs, and prognoses. It's possibly one of the most inconvenient geographic locations for me, but that's inconsequential to having found excellent veterinary care. If there is ever a time one needs compassion and kindness, it's with an ill pet. PS, Norm had made a good recovery!
