They had major bevels between each piece where dirt, debris, and pet accidents would get trapped, which was especially difficult since we foster/do hospice care for senior dogs. He sanded everything down beautifully smooth and transformed the dated orange color into a timeless, neutral walnut that matches the other wood throughout our home perfectly. The finish is so smooth and flawless that the floors almost look fake! And the best part? NO MORE CLEANING OUT THE BEVELS WITH TOOTHPICKS! ?
