My 73 yr old husband walked into Thedacare for a lab draw. He is carrying and using an an oxygen tank and using a cane. He walks very slowly and with much pain. When he went to the desk to check in they told him that he was at the wrong location. Rather than offer to draw labs there which only takes a few minutes they told him to leave. He had to walk out of the hospital and go to the Green Bay Road location and go in to have his labs drawn. The lab at Green Bay Road said that they would have drawn his labs if it had happened there. Where is the compassion at Thedacare Hospital? I feel that that person at the desk doesn't have enough empathy or compassion to be working...read full review
The nurses here are caring and compassionate! They went above and beyond and made a miserable situation bearable for my husband and myself! I was able to stay in the awesome guest house, which I'm so appreciative of that!!They took excellent care of my husband! Definitely high quality healthcare here. They made sure pain was under control and helped my husband heal and get well after two emergency surgeries and quite a long stay.I'd definitely recommend being a patient here!I'd like to especially thank Dr Luedke and the team from Surgical Associates. I went in to the ER yesterday for severe dehydration, possibly alcohol poisoning. I told them I rarely drink and did not drink more than usual but was in very bad shape. I couldn’t even drink water, could barely speak, was cold and shaking, puking into a garbage bag, couldn’t walk, and ended up in and out of consciousness on a bench. I watched as every single person in the waiting room including those that came well after me and had no obvious discomfort were brought back and i was ignored.
