ThedaCare provides high-quality healthcare with caring and compassionate nurses who go above and beyond to make patients' experiences more bearable. The hospital offers excellent care, ensuring that patients' pain is under control and they receive proper treatment. The staff, including Dr. Luedke and the team from Surgical Associates, as well as the nurses and staff on the Trauma Surgical 6th floor, demonstrate exceptional care and attention. While some areas for improvement were noted, such as timely linen changes and patient care, the hospital's ER and out-patient services have received positive feedback. Patients have reported long wait times, but the staff has been generally friendly and helpful. The hospital's Valet service has also received praise, with one driver going above and beyond to retrieve a patient's forgotten pillow. Overall, ThedaCare provides good healthcare services, but with some room for improvement.
My husband had a 10 foot fall from a ladder at work on April 9th and he was taken to this hospital as it was the nearest one to the job site he was at. The nursing staff was pretty quick to answer his calls when he needed them which is why I'm giving this place two stars instead of one. As someone who has dealt with a different hospital where overnight nursing staff let him go without pain meds overnight for a 12 hour period having compassionate nursing staff who actually cares for my husband when I can't be there is worth it's weight in gold.

I had surgery there recently.
I have a complaint about the pre-operative process. I do have a compliment on the post-op too.
The two nurses that did the pre-op it seemed like, well the one that tried to do the IV on my left arm blew it…..twice. The other one that was doing the stuff on the computer (Teri), well, it sounded like she said the one that blew my veins that she knew there was going to be a problem when she saw me. So, I don't know if she was talking about me (didn’t she figure that I’d hear her?) and how can she just tell by looking at me, without looking at my arms. Very easy parking; good hallway labeling and wall signs. At first glance, you do not see the 5th&6th floors until you get off the elevators.
The room view is a picturesque window framed(like a wall painting) with ducks and geese moving on the pond waters.
