“As others have said, Emily is absolutely amazing! I have been to 2 other physical therapists, 2 podiatrists, a neurologist and a series of chiropractors to try and figure out ongoing foot pain (amongst other physical pains) that had lasted a little over 2 years to the point where I was unhappy doing basically any kind of walking. No one could truly give me pain relief or answers to what was going on.In the roughly 3 months of seeing Emily, my pain has improved greatly and I have better range of motion. I'm able to do things I haven't been able to do in years. I look forward to every single visit! She is extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, and she really gets to the root of the problem. She is an amazing lady and has been my miracle worker. I wouldn't recommend anybody but her. Thank you so much Emily!“

“I came to Fyzical for therapy on a broken shoulder. Matt realized that something was wrong, suggested a doctor and it was discovered I needed surgery. After healing, Matt worked his miracles , giving me full motion. He is such a dedicated professional who I value as a friend.“

“It is not an exaggeration to say that working with Dr. Sydney completely changed my life. I cannot recommend working with her and the Kinetic team enough.I had started dealing with knee pain during my ice hockey season almost 3 years previously and nothing had worked. I had already worked with a non-sports physical therapist for many months, which hadn't helped at all. I also had the joint cleaned out via a scope. But, nothing had helped. It had gotten to the point where even walking up as few as 3 stairs caused a level of pain such that I had to psych myself up to do it. My doctor told me that I would deal with the pain for the rest of my life and that I should just try and avoid activities that aggravated it, including buying ranch style house and minimizing the number of stairs I walked up. I was 28 at the time.Luckily, I got a second opinion and that provider recommended sports-specific PT, which led to me finding Kinetic and Dr. Sydney. Now, after having worked with Sydney for 6 months, my life is totally different. Not only can I climb stairs and get through my activities of daily living without pain, but I am back to living the active lifestyle I had before the injury. I can play the sports I used to play (hockey and softball), run around with my dog, and take kickboxing and HIIT classes.I really liked how Dr. Sydney and Kinetic took a qualitative approach to physical therapy. At my first appointment, they used equipment to measure the strength of my different muscle groups and compared where I was to baseline "good" values from sports medicine research. As I got stronger, we periodically re-measured and Sydney used the information to determine how best to continue with my care.In terms of logistics, scheduling appointments was easy. Knowing which exercises I needed to do at home and how to do them was also easy, because Kinetic uses an app that has embedded videos of all the exercises. I found this much easier to follow than the typical printed out exercises that other physical therapy places have given me in the past. The only negative thing about Kinetic is that they don't process insurance themselves, so I had to take the initiative to file the claims with my health insurance provider myself. While this did take some time, the time was absolutely worth it because of the results I got. This also means you do have to pay up-front and out of pocket, but they offer payment plans and accept HSA, which greatly minimized the financial burden. Once I was reimbursed by my health insurance provider, the cost of Kinetic was comparable to previous PT appointments. Additionally, any time I needed additional documentation to provide to my health insurance provider, Dr. Sydney was quick to help and provided exactly what I needed.“

“My experience floating was great! I will agree that the owner is a bit unreliable (he is also very nice). To the reviewer who said it wasn't life changing and was going to fight the owner, if you read his other reviews you'll see he claims Miller Lite as 'the best beer ever invented.' So don't put too much stock in his review of something that requires being open-minded. If you're willing to go outside your comfort zone and not immediately judge a book by its cover, give floating a shot. Joe, the owner is helpful, encouraging and kind...when he shows up.“
