I saw Gwen Gettelman - because I had whiteheads and skin texture. She prescribed me spironolactone - which not only gave me a full body rash but gave me severe acne. I was on the medication for 5 weeks and when I called to let me them know my acne got worse since taking the medication they simply said it was because of my menstrual cycle and to continue taking the medication. The front desk receptionist and nurse responded very rude to me. They told me if I wanted a solution I would have to come in and pay for another follow up appointment. Gwen would not even take my call. Update: I have since not taken my medication for a week now and my acne has improved tremendously.
