I used B&W for my wedding. Kathleen did an amazing job on all of my bridesmaids and flower girls hair so I would definitely reccomend her!

however, I have concerns about makeup. Mandy did everyone's makeup. She did amazing for my makeup trial so I had to concerns with working with her for my wedding day. a lot of the girls makeup was coming off before the ceremony. my sisters eyelash was coming off and my aunts makeup looked horrible shortly after getting it done. My sisters lip color had to be changed and there was still some color smudged and did not look good. my makeup did end up lasting but the eyeshadow didn't look very blended.

additionally, I felt as if Mandy was in a bit of a rush because most of the girls were done quickly. she also didn't really talk to me at all, which I didn't like. she didn't tell me how the makeup looked or even congratulate me from my memory.

so for these reasons, I would not reccomend.

I am not allotted enough characters to properly rave about Jess and her amazing team. They are unbelievable. For starters, they did hair and makeup for me (the bride), 7 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 sister, and a friend, and I am serious when I say every single one of us felt gorgeous when they were done. Not a single soul had any complaints. Jess and her team took time to carefully listen to everything every person asked for and made it happen just like each of us wanted it to be. That’s a LONG day and they did it all with huge smiles and so many laughs. By the end everyone was asking, “can we become friends with them?”

Jess’s communication is fantastic. As a pandemic time bride, my wedding was rescheduled twice and Jess never batted an eye. She was so kind and so responsive and so helpful when it felt like everything else was a dumpster fire. I truly looked forward to reaching out to her every time. I went into my trial with nothing more than a few pictures from Pinterest and a lengthy description of what I did and didn’t like about each one. It would’ve been easy to dismiss me as too complicated but Jess was completely agreeable and when she was done she eagerly took feedback of how to adjust it to ensure I fell in love with how I looked, and the end result was breathtaking.

If that is not enough to convince you, I’ll leave you with this - my mother has never, ever enjoyed getting her hair done and is almost always less than thrilled with the result. She did a trial with Jess and came home practically giddy. She adored Jess and was so thrilled with her hair she wore it all day on errands because she couldn’t stop smiling. In the end, she felt as beautiful on my wedding day as I did, which made my special day that much more special.

Trust me when I say you do not want to miss out on working with such an incredible group!

Cannot say how much I love this salon enough. They helped me to make a childhood dream a reality with my desire for vibrant purple hair and instead I was given a masterpiece of violets with my own brunettes mixed in for an amazing look!
