Decided not to go back .
I went in to establish care and promptly address problems with menopause and hormonal imbalances suffering from many symptoms and overdue for a pelvic exam.
The nurse practitioner and assistant did not wish to take a urine sample and give me a pelvic exam. Instead I was given a prescription for an antidepressant and told I could come back for a pelvic exam after another month of taking the antidepressant. (By the way the practitioner did not say it was an antidepressant that she was giving me, I found out by researching and speaking to the pharmacist when I was supposed to pay for it.)
