Building our lake home in northern Wisconsin with Custom Kreations was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Steve, Lisa, and their entire team demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to quality throughout the entire process. Having an interior designer involved at every stage was invaluable — it made decision-making seamless and ensured that every detail aligned with our vision. The end result is nothing short of stunning. Our home is beautifully crafted, meticulously finished, and exceeds every expectation we had. Each member of the Custom Kreations crew was respectful, kind, and clearly dedicated to their craft. The workmanship and attention to detail are exceptional. Even after moving in, any minor adjustments were handled promptly and with care. After living in our home for nine months, we continue to be impressed by its beauty and quality. In preparing to build our retirement home, we attended the Green Bay Tour of Homes. After walking through a home built by Custom Kreations (CKI), we met with Steve and Lisa Huben to discuss some of our plans and goals, including the fact that we would be building in Egg Harbor, WI. We were very impressed with their professionalism, knowledge and customer focus in discussing our project. We soon realized that Custom Kreations was the company we wanted to build our home. One of our goals was to make our home functional and safe as we aged. We learned there was a name for this, Universal Design. Universal Design focuses on making the home safe and accessible for everyone regardless of age, physical ability or stature. We were excited to discover that Lisa had education and experience with this design and contributed plans and options we did not even know were available. We can enjoy our beautiful home now, and, we are prepared to continue to enjoy our home as we age and face future challenges. This includes our family and friends when they visit. This is piece of mind that is priceless! Though we had decided on the floor plan of the home we toured, there were still a few changes we wanted to make. We were never told no, that can’t be done. Steve Huben has a great depth of knowledge and experience and was able to draw on that to offer options to help make ALL our wishes a reality. CKI has an experienced staff that can take our ideas and contribute suggestions to take it to another level. They were all truly instrumental in designing our Dream Home. Quality of work is certainly important and key when deciding on the company you choose to build your home. CKI has a group of sub-contractors who are excellent. They don’t believe in short cuts. They take pride in their work and there was nothing less than top quality construction. All of the sub-contractors are professional, friendly and customer focused. After meeting and getting to know the sub-contractors during the building process, every single sub-contractor mentioned how much they respected and enjoyed working with CKI. It’s truly a team effort with CKI and their support network. Respect and trust of the skills and experience the subs provided was evident. Finally, the quality of work by Pat Huben and the field crew on site was second to none. Early on in the project, we were very surprised to have many of our new neighbors contact us regarding the construction of our home. They were so impressed with the communications by CKI. They sent a letter to all our neighbors. They introduced themselves and explained the work that would be done. They stated they would do their best to keep the noise to a minimum and keep the area clean. Steve and Lisa gave them their telephone number to call them directly if they had any concerns so they could address them immediately. Needless to say, our neighbors were very impressed. One neighbor commented that in all his years in the construction business, he has never seen another company do this. Communication is important. As the Project Consultant, Lisa Huben would send out a weekly update as to all the work that had been completed that week and what was scheduled for the coming week. Lisa was our contact for any and all questions and she would respond timely with the requested information. We were always kept informed and looked forward to these communications. Finally, let’s be honest, with any project this size, there are bound to be things that don’t go exactly as planned. We had a few changes along the way and CKI helped us work through them cost effectively and with great professionalism. We have gained a lot of respect for Steve and Lisa Huben, and the whole team at CKI.
