The horse riding was great. The petting zoo should be avoided.
Lets start with the horse ride. The guide was upbeat and kept things moving. It was my first time as well as my son's first time on a horse. He was patient as he gave my son instruction to get his horse moving. They also pick horse based on the person they are putting on the horse. Thank you, Canyon Creek for an amazing horseback ride on this wonderful October day. Dave was our tour guide, and he did a magnanimous job. Thank you, Dave, for the hospitality, and fine experience. Would come back again! Great for the family.
My biggest complaint that I have is one of the rules is no phones on the ride but yet the tour guide was on his as soon as the stables were out of sight and put it back when we saw another guide. Other than that, the horses looked well cared for. They were very patient with my kiddo who was scared to get on (but now he keeps asking when we can go back) 😂
