Wonderful, beautiful, clean Island! GODs country, a natural refuge. Unspoiled lands and water proving tourism & eco systems can exist without harm to Nature when each is in balance. My most favorite northernmost US Island! ❤️ Lake Superior my favorite of the Great Lakes.

I just visited Madeline Island for the first time. The town was quieting down being that it is off season for the tourist. some restaurants where closed, but the Beach house was open, and it was very good. grocery stores where open, but if you are gonna camp, be prepared to buy your fresh meat before going to the Island because all of there meat is frozen. The lagoon is absolutley AMAZING to kayak in Big Bay. the campground by the lagoon is nicer than at the Sate Park. The Island is surprisingly Large with very nice beaches. I personally can't waot to go back next year, but earlier.
