I have been seeing Dr. Lo for the last 10 years on and off, for my chronic back pain. His treatments have been very effective in treating my pain. I love that he keeps up to date with innovation and new tools for pain treatments. His staff is friendly and I would highly recommend their services! Definitely a 5 star!
What can you say to gentelman who has given your life back to you! When I was 18 years old I started my battles with migraine headaches. I would get spots in my eyes, and I could not see. In 15 minutes, I would get a migraine headache. I saw my doctor, I was given a self injection system. It was not convenient to carry around. This was a problem, because if I could not get the injection in that 15 minutes, it would not work. I had this system for several years. They stop using the injection system. Pills became the answer. They were cheaper, and easy to carry. They did not work for me. The next year's saw a wide range of pills, and combinations of pills. Nothing was effective for any leanth of time. Things were made worse, when we found out that pills that contained any narcotics could not be used because I am alergic to them. This results in the strongest pains could not be used on me. The next step was injections in my neck, and scalp. There were more than 20 shots in each treatment. They were very painful. When we started, I got three months of headache free time. It was worth the pain of injections. I found that over time the period between headaches reduced. I ended up with only one month between headaches. I stopped the injections. I was referred to a surgeon. They put wires in my brain, and I had to be awake during this procedure to tell them with part of my brain was effected as they stimulated the wires. This was Fun? The wires ran down my spine to a battery pack in my but. This allowed me to turn the system with a strong magnet. You my know what this was, it is the same as a tens unit for your back pain. This worked for about three years. It lost the ability to stop the pain. The next step was the doctor refeering me to a chronic pain clinic. Nothing new here, I had used all the systems they suggested. Went back to the doctor, He said, I have chronic pain. No pill will stop my pain, because it is all in my head. He did won't to see me any more. I an now 70 years old, or 52 years of fighting migraine headaches. My headache have increased in frequency, duration,and stength. I was having headaches everyday at a level of 8 or above. Almost all day. I could not go to a baseball game because I could not stay past the 7th. Inning. Ew had season tickets. I could not play golf because I could not complete 9 holes. I could not even play cards with my wife because in the she would notice I was in a lot of pain. She would send me to bed. The only place I got relief. I could not attend family get togethers, or holidays. I felt totally useless. I questioned why I was Living! I can not express my frustration. I was ready to try anything. Including chiropractic, or acupuncture. I met with my financial advisor who I see once a year. I was wearing sun glasses in his office. The lightest were to brite for me.
