Best Paw Forward is The Best. Many other dog trainers are great at being positive with dogs but not so great at being positive with people, understandably getting frustrated with people’s rate of learning to communicate with their dogs. Best Paw trainers excel at positive reinforcement of both dogs and their people. Feedback is positive and constructive. Much of the learning takes place by playing games with the dogs. Best Paw has increased my confidence in working with my dogs and enhanced my relationships with them. There are other trainers closer to where I live, but it’s worth the extra time to drive to Best Paw. I am so glad to have found this treasure.

We've been thru several of Best Paw Forward's classes. All have been great. Class sizes are small and there's plenty of time for personal attention. They follow a genuine science based, force free, positive reinforcement training style. You can be sure they'll set you up for a long lasting, healthy, and positive relationship with you and your dog. Lisa, Pam, Roxy, and the rest of the crew are super friendly and knowledgeable. You won't go wrong choosing Best Paw Forward for your dog training classes!

We LOVE this class! We have truly noticed a significant difference in Reuben from the first day of class where he was all over the place to now, where he sits and even lays down during class. This has been a wonderful experience not only for Reuben, but for us as we continue to learn how to train him. Thus, also creating an incredible bond with Reuben. Prior to the class, we felt lost as we didn’t know how to train Reuben properly. This class was extremely detailed and helpful, and the practice homework helped even more. We offer a variety of positive reinforcement dog training obedience classes for all dogs and handlers. What does positive mean? We reward the behaviors that we like/want. We get those behaviors by using methods that do not use fear, force or intimidation. We reward by using praise, treats, toys, life rewards, etc. Trust and cooperation are the root of our relationship-based training. Our methods are based in the scientific learning theory of animals. We are dog behavior geeks and love what we do. Many of our classes are offered at several skill levels. Whether you intend to go on to shows, trials or just want to have a great dog, we have the right fit of classes for you. Everyone learns in a fun, positive and safe atmosphere!
