Pretty nice place to try golfing... It's not a USGA, BUT the greens are definitely challenging... It's worth playing at least one time and make your own decision about playing it again... Definitely 4 stars?
Played a tournament here this weekend. First time at this course for me. I absolutely loved the layout. There are so many nice touches on this course that other courses in the area don't have. Greens are large and sloped. You really need to think about every shot you play on this course. A green in regulation with the ball in the wrong spot is almost an automatic three putt. Grounds weren't terribly well maintained and the bunkers are garbage. The new ownership is improving this course and it has the potential to be one of Wisconsin's premier golf destinations. Tiny men's bathroom, add a locker room!
Great course, excellent condition. Update 4-27-24: Very friendly staff. Beverage cart service was excellent. Course conditions were ok for early season. We always enjoy Wander Springs, we'll definitely be back!
