They are very professional and do a really good job, I would recommend them to anyone. When they are done other than the new roof you wouldn't know they were there.
H&S was, by far, the most trustworthy and dependable roofing company with whom I have ever dealt. The crew was professional, they worked hard, cleaned up, and had me restored in less than 10 hours. What impressed me was the post-installation that H&S did! Jeffrey came out a day after the installation to review the work He spotted a couple of questionable areas and dispatched people to redo it. Gutter installation was fantastic...Jim came out to do that. He was a working MACHINE and the quality...holy cow! This guy knows his tools. Just a great experience, all around. I highly recommend the H&S.
H&S Roofing was excellent. What I appreciated most was the lack of high pressure sales tactics you see everywhere. They are like “here’s your quote and do it or not”. They have like 20 color choices and you can see examples of each. Some cost more than others. They have heavy duty singles if you want them, but you don’t have to buy them. What I also appreciate is they help you with colors and cost and type. They actually recommend you don’t buy hurricane shingles because there are no hurricanes in Green Bay and it's basically a waste of money. Who ever says that? They have a picture of your home and help direct you to the best color shingle for your home. It does not take long for them to narrow it down to a couple of very good choices. They also gave me a choice of some excellent sky lights. My new skylights are absolutely breathtaking! They also tell you the basic skylight is just as good as the top of the line model that closes when it rains and has a power blind in it. I have the all glass skylight and it's excellent. I don’t need all the bells and whistles. I was looking at a new color that was very close to the color I had and they are like “ that’s $4 a square more” for almost the same color. I took the original color with no upcharge! I had my new roof in 3 weeks. Started at 7 am and had the roof off at 8 am. The new roof started at 8 am and was done by noon. Flawless work. All new outside openings for the fireplace and oven. Skylights are perfectly installed. They let me know in advance that I own the inside of the skylights and they own the outside. It rained hard and there was not a drop anywhere inside my home. Gutter people 3 days later. Flawless work. All new gutters which were a perfect match for my home. I gave them detailed instructions on how I wanted my gutters and they did that exact work with zero follow up. I have to say the best thing about H&S is I had ZERO follow-up with any issues with my roof or gutters. They listened to what I wanted the first time and did exactly what I wanted. It is extremely hard these days to find competent contractors. Contractors screw up most of the time but all of the H&S work was excellent. I would not go anywhere else. I am very good at leaving highly critical reviews of contractors because of poor workmanship. I can’t remember the last time I had a good review but this is one of them! Great job H&S! 🙂
