The restaurant on site provides a welcoming spot for players and visitors, with nice staff contributing to a pleasant experience. Visitors can enjoy meals like the well-liked fish fry and other simple, satisfying options. The weather and scenery make it an ideal place to relax after a round of golf, and the friendly atmosphere encourages repeat visits. While tee times can be tight at times, the overall experience remains enjoyable, with many returning for another round and meal.
Three stars for Peninsula State Park Golf Course, and I’m being generous because somewhere in Wisconsin there is a committee that must be held accountable for the first eight holes.
The opening seven holes are so aggressively boring that beige looks exotic by comparison. Vanilla walks in and says, “Jesus Christ, this place needs some excitement.” These holes have the personality of a DMV waiting room. You hit a golf ball, walk around, hit another golf ball, and slowly begin to question whether you have accidentally wandered onto a municipal property designed by a committee of accountants who were forbidden from using curves.

Great course.With wonderful views and the greens were in great shape.
Incredible place to golf with spectacular views. The course was well manicured with a decent pace of play. The staff was friendly and was thankful a friend recommended I add this course to my bucket list. Consider it checked off! I hope I get to come back and play it again some day.
