I never hired Nick as a plumber but I can attest to his exemplary character.
I was travelling through the US from Canada and I lost my wallet. Unbeknownst to me, it fell off my truck in the middle of the road at a roundabout. Nick noticed it, got out of his vehicle to pick it up and looked inside to see if it belonged to anyone in town to return it (Nick knows a lot of people!). When he saw it was a Canadian with no way to reach me, he handed it in to the police. There was a substantial amount of cash inside. I called in to the police at the exact moment Nick arrived on the one in a million chance it was returned. Not a penny missing.
