Stopped here to take a short hike and saw about a dozen deer. I have fond memories of this place from when I was in high school many years ago. The trail had a number of stations that explained the flora, fauna, and ecosystem.

Staff was absolutely wonderful! Such a great time for our group of 6th-12th grade students! Good mix of time for classes/free time. I’d recommend this to any middle or high school science educator!

From Trees For Tomorrow

Trees For Tomorrow (TFT) is a nonprofit environmental education center. Founded in 1944 as a reforestation effort by the pulp and paper industry. Today we focus on educating students of all ages about the value of sustainability and our human roles as stewards of our natural resources. Funding comes from a combination of program fees, sponsorships, grants and donations. Trees For Tomorrow promotes sustainable use of our natural resources through transformative educational experiences. Our field-based programs place people in direct contact with the natural resources that support human needs and provide the knowledge and skills that lead to responsible lifestyle choices.
