Our kitty needed medical attention asap. I called several local places who offered urgent care, but they all referred us to the emergency place in Appleton. Our kitty gets extremely carsick and was already violently throwing up, so we really didn’t want to travel too far. I called Viva Vet and they were able to fit us in same-day, even on a Friday afternoon! I’m convinced that they saved her life by seeing her before things took a turn for the worse. They were so friendly and caring, and they taught us how to administer IV fluids on our own so that we didn’t have to leave our cat at an animal hospital over the weekend. If I could give VitaVet Medical Center more stars, I absolutely would. They saved my cat’s life.
When Aiyana needed emergency surgery, the team recommended UW-Madison for aftercare, but when I explained that wasn’t financially possible, they didn’t hesitate -- they stepped in and performed the surgery themselves. They provided incredibly detailed aftercare instructions, even allowing me to record the walkthrough so I wouldn’t miss a step. In the end, their guidance was so thorough and compassionate that I didn’t even need the video.
