Door Creek Golf Course

Door Creek Golf Course is a well-maintained 18-hole and 9-hole executive golf course that offers a challenging layout with fast greens and giant sand traps. The course is located just east of Madison and has been praised for its nice condition, especially after the summer rains that made the landscape green. However, some areas of the course have standing water, and there are reports of bunkers in rough shape with erosion and a lack of raking.

The staff is known for their friendliness and accommodating nature, making it a great destination for golfing, events, and parties. Players have enjoyed the nice outdoor patio and outdoor bar, as well as the driving range located a short cart ride from the clubhouse. Despite some concerns about the course conditions, many appreciate the service and the rates, such as $20 to walk 9 holes at 6:30 PM on a Monday.

The owners and their staff strive to provide an amazing experience for all visitors, and while some golfers have noted issues like mud in tee shot landing areas and the quality of the sand in the bunkers not matching the price, the fast greens and overall enjoyable atmosphere keep many coming back for more.
