About Riverside Golf Course
Riverside Golf Course is highly regarded for its consistently excellent course conditions. The fairways are exceptionally clear, and the greens and tee boxes are well-maintained, even during dry seasons. It has become a favorite local course, worth the drive, offering great value and service. Many find it to be one of the best gems of a public golf course, with lush grass and well-maintained bunkers. The signage and yardage markers are good, making it a nice course for any skill level. Although the restaurant has limited weekend afternoon hours, it has received praise for its accommodating staff and the quality of service, especially during busy events like Mother's Day. While some players have noted an occasional slow pace of play, the overall experience remains enjoyable, with the option to grab a sandwich after playing.
The course was in excellent shape and a nice layout. Enough trees and water, not to mention an island green, to make it fun. I definitely recommend it.
My only problem was using GHIN. The course has been renumbered and it doesn't match GHIN. It artificially adjusted some scores. The course plays 3-9, 1, 2, then 10-18. No where near the GHIN as it still shows 1-18. Getting a par on a par 5 and having it adjusted because GHIN has it as a par three is no bueno. Of course paring a par three and getting an eagle is interesting 🤔. You just need to delete your round and post your total score
Over all great course has a locker room and bath room accessible from outside without going thru the restaurant but has a stair case up to the restaurant if you wanted to stop in some awesome scenery in the back nine once you get farther away from the road
First time here. One of the best gems of a public golf course I've played. Look forward to playing it regularly. Greens are good. Grass is lush. Bunkers are cut and maintained well. Good signage and yardage markers. A nice course for any level.
