We’ve been taking our GSD to The Dog House since she was a couple months old. She’s 7 now, and all we have to do is say “daycare” and she gets so excited. The crew at The dog House have become a second family to her. It’s a great place for a dog to go to get some energy out. There is a wide open space indoors where all the dogs play and run, and there is a large pen outside for lots of activities.
We don’t know what we’d do without The Dog House. We joke that we can’t move because we can’t take Hera out of her school district, lol. A huge thank you to the crew for taking care of our girl for the past 7 years...read full review
We had such a great experience with Dog House Pet Resort in Baraboo! We dropped off our mini dachshund, Teddy, for daycare while we spent the day climbing at Devil’s Lake, and we couldn’t have been happier.
From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and already seemed ready for Teddy. They immediately recognized that she’s a small dog and, based on what we told them about her personality, suggested making her the office dog for the day while seeing if she wanted to gradually join the larger play group. I absolutely love this place! My Cosmo can be a little strong-willed at first, but he is such a sweetheart once he gets comfortable with you. He just needs a little time to get to know you and trust you.
What I love most about this place is the patience, love, and care they have with him. They take the time to understand his personality and make him feel safe and comfortable. I always feel confident leaving Cosmo with them, knowing he is being treated with so much kindness and care.
I highly recommend this place for grooming and boarding. They truly treat your pets like family! ❤🐾
