About Zak's Wash

Zak's Wash is a clean and convenient laundromat with well-maintained, up-to-date machines. Most of the equipment is operational, and the dryers work especially well. The facility includes clean bathrooms and reasonable prices that align with other laundromats. However, the place could benefit from a deeper clean and some repairs. Limited credit card machines can make payments tricky, and customers should be cautious when using card options, as some have experienced unexpected charges. The place is more updated than others in town but is somewhat small and not very clean overall. Despite these issues, it remains a reliable spot with good quality machines for laundry needs.

Very dirty. The floor was filthy, the washing machine fronts were nasty, garbage was full and the bathroom door was locked. The prices were not terrible but still more expensive than any other place we’ve been. They had a TV on the wall but it was off, so bring your own entertainment.

Some washers and dryers accept cards, when they want too which is very frustrating when you don’t have cash to put in their change machine. Frequently have broken down equipment. Half of the dryers are missing the doors. Vending machine has never worked and has broken glass. Bathrooms are never unlocked. Annoying that Ashland doesn’t have a laundromat that is actually cared for.

I like Zak's Wash, it's a lot more updated than the other places in town. But today was the first time I ever used my card instead of quarters, and I don't think I'll ever do it again. It charged me just over double for the wash, and hasn't charged for the dryer yet ?
