I was gifted this fantastic massage for my birthday, and it was a an experience worth telling people about.
I was greeted by Lisa minutes after arriving and quickly felt comfortable, because she is very kind and engaging. We talked for a few minutes about what I like in a massage, and just as important, what I don't like in a massage.
It is very rare in my experience that massage therapists don't just do their own thing, but this time was not the case. Lisa concentrated on the areas that we had talked about. Aura overall is friendly and feels really easygoing, but Kate! Kate is great! First and foremost, she cuts/colors/styles my hair very well—she gets that I have weird hair (don’t we all) and does extremely well with it. I appreciate that she’s up for chit chat when I get antsy/nervous. I especially enjoy watching the techniques and asking about the tools and products she uses. I’m not super brand loyal, but she has recommended a few Aveda products that are PERFECT for me.Also! If I could give 10 stars ⭐️ I would. I had an amazing experience. My first time to this Aveda location as we recently moved to the area came recommended by a friend. I was referred to Kimberly. She was amazing. Attentive & really listened to my concerns & goals for reaching my desired hair color. We went with a balayage style which was for me a first time. It came out amazing. I felt so comfortable & secure with Kimberly. The staff was attentive when I walked through the door bringing me ☕️. Beautiful salon and love the location. Can’t wait to come back!
