Jordan Lemerande makes the thinning hair on this middle-aged dad-bod wannabe hipster look better than it has a right to. And while this entire review could dwell on his skills with the shears, the fantastic view of the Fox River out his window, his attention to detail, his great taste in music, etc., etc., I'd actually like to tell you about what he does for our family that makes him our permanent hall-of-fame greatest of all time. In our family the best hair goes to our 9 year old boy. Blond and thick, falling across his scalp naturally and at the perfect angles. In addition to having perfect hair our boy is autistic and non-verbal. His existence is interrupted by his compulsion for sensory inputs and an inability to sit still. He does it all happily and we love him to bits. But his compulsions make some chores really difficult. Back to Jordan. Jordan agreed to step outside of his normal trend-setting modus operandi and take our boy as a client. We arrive and Jordan shifts his attention to providing his usual service AND being considerate for our boy, making him comfortable and giving him room to shift in the seat and grab for Jordan's shears and against all odds - to let Jordan give him a great haircut. I don't know quite how he does it, but we're grateful to Jordan and Rubrum and would recommend him on the basis of my wannabe hipster status haircuts alone. But he goes the extra mile - for our boy, and I'm sure for you too.
