David Murray of Murray Custom Painting (Appleton, WI) completed the cleaning, staining, resealing and repair of the nearly 100-year-old cedar shake siding on our house this Fall (2025). He also stained and sealed new replacement cedar shake to be installed. David worked closely with my spouse and I regarding stain color selection, providing many stain samples as needed and thoughtful recommendations.

Finally, we found a high-end, high-quality painter! Dave is truly a professional painter. He painted our kitchen, dining room, entry way, and trim/windows. He did an outstanding job. He is also someone who knows how to fix problematic areas. I would highly recommend him. In addition to his awesome workmanship he is reliable, very neat, and courteous. We cant say enough and will definitely be calling him for our next project.Service: Interior painting

I simply can't say enough good things about David and his work. We hired him to paint our great room, foyer and upstairs hallway and it was worth the two month wait. We got to know him when he spent 4 days in our house, and he was always friendly, professional, courteous, neat and unobtrusive. The quality of his work is top notch. He also gave us advice about the bathroom we were working on at the time, and ended up painting that also. The ultimate compliment is that we felt comfortable to give him access to our home to perform that work while we were out of the country on vacation.
