Amherst Veterinary Hospital is a recommended place for pet care. The staff are amazing, super friendly, and caring, making pet owners feel comfortable during visits. They provide quality service, including vaccinations and nail trimming, in a clean environment. Clients appreciate the gentle and kind treatment of their pets. They got pets in immediately for emergency surgery to save their lives and helped with pet insurance paperwork. They also walked owners through what they needed to do and provided meds to help absorb toxins. Amherst vet is by far the best. Many plan to return for future visits. They did a great job and saved money by not repeating tests.

They are unbeatable for compassion, and I never doubted the quality of treatment. Every time I've called with a concern they got me in within a day, at most, if not hours. Amazing staff. They are super friendly and willing to help. Last year I called them frantically about my little dog having pyometra. They got her in immediately and performed emergency surgery to save her life. They also helped to get all the paperwork together for our pet insurance. Now today my lab decided he wanted to eat a pound of chocolate. I called them as soon as I noticed it. They walked me through what I needed to do and got me the meds to give to help absorb the toxins. Amherst vet is by far the best. My animals will not go anywhere else
