“Today I was in the surgery center. I talked to the staff about covid. They are strong and dedicated but also frustrated with the lack of care and protection. As I was being wheeled to my room where I was being injected we had to wait for the elevator and the nurse pointed down the hall and said that is where the covid unit is. She commented how strange it is to see it blocked off and covered in plastic. September before the craziness of the pandemic that side was open and surgeries were being preformed one of them was my shoulder surgery. Now its all covid patients times have really changed. She commented on all the people working over there on the amazing job they are doing. By the elevator there was a door covered in plastic saying do not enter unless absolutely necessary and at your own risk. Seeing that was a bit unnerving. What was amazing how the medical staff was still so kind,caring,with an upbeat attitude considering how much they are going through. Remember to thank your medical staff they truly are our heros.“

“Dr. Syth is absolutely phenomenal. I just had my first surgery (opting to get my tubes removed) and she was very patient and accommodating to my anxieties and needs. The whole surgical team was extremely friendly and, while I was nervous, they still had me laughing and were doing their best to make sure I was calm and comforted.

In a world where it can sometimes be difficult to find doctors that allow women to have autonomy over their reproductive rights, I felt very relieved that the first OB GYN surgeon I met with allowed me to get sterilized at 25 without needing to defend my case or having permission from a significant other (although my husband was happily on board with this decision). I cannot recommend Dr. Syth enough.“

“A few years ago I had fallen on ice breaking my left lower leg in two places. The podiatrist in Marshfield was out of the country, no one in Wausau would fix it asit was too complex. Dr. Pankratz in Eau Claire fixed it under a local block. He and the anesthesiogist, Andrew did a wonderful job!“

“I delivered my first baby (a boy) on 09/11/25. My plan was to deliver naturally. And after 17 hours of labor and being stuck at 9cm for 6 hours and baby being sunny side up, I had to get a c section. As all of it was very over whelming, all I have to say is Dr.Robert’s, Dr. Larusso, nurse Brittany, and all of the nurses for post partum I had were absolutely amazing. Brittany was super sweet during labor and made it easy for me. All the post partum nurses who helped me breast feed my baby while dealing with post preeclampsia were absolutely amazing and so so sweet. I wish I could remember all of their names, I know one of them was Ashely!! There was amazing communication and everyone was very open and honest with everything. I highly recommend!!“
