The office however, is very frustrating. I had to cancel an appointment today because my newborn has been vomiting for the last 24 hours. I called the office as soon as they opened and apologized but was told I still counted as a no show, even though I have never missed an appointment. I wasn’t allowed to reschedule my appointment yet either. I really like my doctor but I’m not sure if I’ll continue care here based on this experience. I was charged a $50 fee. I have been a patient at this location for over 13 years. Recently I had to cancel an appointment. I was told that because it wasn't 3 hours ahead of time I would be charged 50.00. I believe it was 2.5 hours prior to my appointment. The person that took my call seemed very excited to tell me that i would be billed 50.00. I have never cancelled an appointment. I could be wrong, but I also don't believe I have ever cancelled an appointment. When I called to dispute this charge I was told that i had to write a letter? I'm so glad I found Dr. Flynn. She is patient and knowledgeable and listened thoughtfully to all my issues, which is rare nowadays. I had a least 5 different things I wanted to discuss with her and we talked at length about all of them. Very grateful to have found a PCP like her.
