Was passing through Yakima and wanted to grab a growler of beer. After some simple Google search, found Hop Capitol Brewing that had 4 good sour beers that kindled my interest. Now, I'm unclear whether Hop Capitol is the new brewery where previously Yakima Craft Brewing was or if a new name or they are both the same. Sampled their sours and was immediately captivated by their guava sour. Guava, a tropical fruit has a mellow sweet and fragrant taste, balances the sour very well. Took back a growler of that and enjoyed it the next day in the historic 100F weather in Seattle. Great brewery and recommended!

This place is absolute gold! Located down off River Road, it's close to the freeway and an easy place to get in and out of. It's a relatively plain looking building from the outside, but inside is quite impressive! Upon entering, you'll be struck by how much space there is in here. Whether you're meeting with a group of 2 or 30, there's lots of room to spread out. Tons of stuff to do - darts, ping pong, Foosball, cornhole, arcade games, beer, did I mention beer! Tons of options including their stuff, tons of other local options, ciders and a few pops for those who like to hang out, but don't love them hops. A craft-beer-lover's Disneyland... shuffleboard, corn hole, darts, arcade games, board games, ping pong, foosball. Oh, and the beer is damn good! We've been to countless breweries and this place has the coolest space we've seen. Also, this place has the most impressive (and probably expensive?) way to pour a beer that I have ever seen. We are, without a doubt, coming back as soon as we can.
