That will teach me to listen to Danielle in the future. I've been going to her practice for massage therapy for my costochondritis. Today both she and my regular therapist worked on me because I'm have some serious issues. After my session Danielle recommended I make a poultice of baking soda and Epsom salts to put on the injury, apply heat, and shower afterward. I was too lazy to shower, so I just wiped the area clean with a warm rag and went to bed. Immediately I went into muscle spasms which were so bad that I had to put pressure and heat on my ribs and not move for over a hour! When things subsided enough that I could move I immediately got into the shower and spent lots of time and hot water on my injury. I feel so much better!
