About Lewis River Golf Course
Lewis River Golf Course is a beautiful place to enjoy a round of golf or launch a boat. The golf course features good greens that have seen tremendous improvement under new ownership and dedicated staff. While there is a need for markers in the fairways or on sprinkler heads to help golfers gauge distances, the recent restoration has brought the greens back to their former glory. The boat launch remains a nice, quiet location to set off for a day of fishing on the river.
Recent visitors have praised the enhancements made to the golf course, including a renovated clubhouse and a new fleet of golf carts, which have revitalized the atmosphere and created a sense of pride among golfers. The clubhouse and restaurant staff are known to be warm, attentive, and professional, contributing to a great guest experience. Though one visitor noted a rare disappointment with a meal, the staff handled it with grace, leaving a positive impression.
Overall, Lewis River Golf Course is considered a top golf experience in the region, with a beautiful location on the river that may even encourage some non-golfers to take up the sport. It is well worth a visit for both golfing and dining, making it a secret gem in Woodland.
