I have purchased a lot of beautiful fabric from Material Things over the years. Mary the owner has helped me so much. She is a creative genius. I would highly recommend Material Things to anybody I know. The chair I have uploaded in the photo below is really a slipcover. Mary helped me pick out the fabric and had the slip cover made for my ugly chair.

I have been a customer of Material Things since we moved to Wenatchee 13 years ago. I have had bedding made, pillows, drapery, furniture slip covers and have utilised May's talents in 2 home remodels. All of the work that they have done for me has only been the best quality! Mary is very knowledgable with decor and blending fabrics and styles, and her workmanship is beautiful. As in most local businesses, you may have to wait a little longer as all the work is customised, but it is worth the wait when the final product is timeless. Keeping business local is important to me, so I choose Material Things first when it comes to my Home Dec needs.

I experienced unprofessionalism, poor business organization and the epitome of preferential treatment. After placing an order and waiting several weeks past due, I called and left messages yet did not receive a return call. When I was finally able to speak to the owner, they quickly ended the conversation and stated they would call me back but never did. I then showed up in person to inquire about my order but was ignored while other customers were helped who came in after me. Needless to say, to this date I still don't have my product and no one has ever contacted me about it. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
