We received three quotes from different companies and went with Built Stout Fence & Deck because I was so impressed with Ron's presentation and I felt his quote was very fair. The finished product speaks for itself. The workmanship and product quality is top tier. The photos speak for themselves.
The crew did and outstanding job and were very personable and professional, along with working very fast. They were very thorough and they did not cut any corners. Ron had them bring the original structure (beams and joists) up to code. The deck is solid as a rock now!
Our back fence blew down during a storm in January. Tucker, our dachshund, discovered that his backyard was suddenly twice the size and he couldn't wait to explore his new territory. We called Built Stout and they promptly arranged a visit to provide us with a review of our entire fence and a bid for replacement. They determined that only the back portion needed to be replaced, and that the other sides were still in good shape, which we appreciated (fearing that the entire fence would need to be replaced). Their price was reasonable, and within a week, the new fence had been completed. It looks great and we appreciated the speed with which it was completed.
We hired Built Stout Fence and Deck to build us a deck with a bit of a twist. We wanted the lower deck to be offset 45 degrees from the upper deck. We also wanted the lower deck to be wrapped around a hot tub. They did an outstanding job and what really set them apart was their excellent communication throughout the entire project. They kept us informed at every stage, explained what they were doing and why, and were always quick to respond to questions.
