About KeyMe Locksmiths

KeyMe Locksmiths in University Place offers a range of locksmith services available 24/7, including key duplication, lockouts, repairs, new installations, and smart lock setups. Customers can visit a convenient kiosk inside the Fred Meyer store to quickly get duplicates of home, office, car keys, key fobs, or access cards. The kiosk allows users to save their keys on a profile and print copies at any location with a kiosk, providing added convenience. However, some reviews mention that the standard keys are costly ($9.99 each) and may be 'sticky' if not smoothed, which adds extra expense and effort. Customers can also rely on the locksmiths for emergency services, with a prompt response and professional care. One reviewer appreciated the locksmith's professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly service, highlighting a stress-free experience and valuable security advice. Another reviewer noted the ease of using the kiosk and the fun key designs, which successfully worked in their lock. Overall, KeyMe Locksmiths is recognized for its quick, reliable service, friendly staff, and innovative kiosk system, though some find the pricing for standard keys to be high. The company stands behind its work with a 100% money-back guarantee, making it a trusted choice for locksmith needs in the area.

The convenience of getting your keys at a kiosk and the key being saved on your profile are great, but the high cost ($9.99/key for no design) to make a standard key and charging extra to smooth them out is ridiculous. That should come standard. Keys are very 'sticky' if you don't add this feature and hard to use. Or if you're skilled enough, buff them yourself. I'd rather get my standard keys done at a hardware store next time for less cost and smoothing/buffing are included.

The only benefit to the standard key option for these kiosks is that it's saved so you can 'print' it off anywhere a kiosk is available by signing into your… read full review

We recently moved into a new retail office location, and my husband had taken the one key that we got to various home-improvement stores three times but each time the key copies that we received did not work. So I decided to try the KeyMe Locksmith kiosk near us. It was easy and simple, I got a fun key design, and it works in the lock at the space! A great experience all around.
