Lovely drive from Seattle to Snohomish for apple picking. Not a super selection of tart apples (my fave) as I missed the prime season by weeks. Farmers are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the quiet peacefulness is recharging to the soul.

We went out for some apple picking between rains, were expecting lots of apples at the farm, and were not disappointed. It took a little foraging but despite being a little late in the season, came away with 15lbs after an hour of work. The staff are super knowledgeable about all the fruit they grow, plus there's at least one orchard cat Tiger Lily who will at least check the humans out occasionally.
There are some low-star reviews here, which is surprising, and I hope people can keep in mind that this is a working farm, not an amusement park. The fruit won't look perfect (just listen to the staff about what imperfections are cosmetic and... read full review

The farm is lovely, with many varieties of grapes, flowers and apples, plus some fruits and berries I had never tried before. We really enjoyed our time there—the kids had fun exploring the machines and the old bus. We paid about $130 for two buckets filled with assorted fruits.
