“Stephen fixed our 14 year old Kohler generator that had behaved oddly over the winter months with power outages. Sometimes it would start and sometimes not, but nothing predictable. Thankfully it chose the late winter before dying entirely. I had another company out to diagnose the problem, and they said it was probably the starter. Unfortunately, WEEKS went by with no word from the other company on a plan to get another starter, what to expect for a time line to fix it…no response at all to my weekly queries on the status of getting the generator fixed. So I called Kohler and they recommended Seltec whom I called that day, a Tuesday. He was out to look at it on Friday, and he FIXED it!!!! Problem was not the starter but something else that had gotten just enough off balance so that the generator wouldn’t start. Something that only an experienced person would figure out. I am enormously grateful that he responded promptly to me, came out so quickly, AND fixed the generator. He also went ahead and did the 100 hour tune-up on it. Charged an extremely fair price, and the generator now works! I am thrilled and thankful.“
