I recently completed a year-long PT rehab at Vida for my torn rotator cuff. I started the year there with pre-surgery PT then post-surgery PT going in about twice a week. Going through any kind of health rehab is never a pleasant experience especially for as long as I did. However, the crew I worked with at Vida— PT’s Elaina, Theresa, and Emma, and the front-desk staff- Mira and Nate, all made my rehab experience a lot more pleasant and tolerable. Went to Vida Madison for a year to help recover from a ACL/MCL/Meniscus Tear on my knee after a ski fall.I cannot say enough how awesome the entire team is in the PT and recovery process. I did pre-surgery PT and post-surgery PT in that 12-month period, often 2x a week.You have to put the work in, both outside PT on your own and inside the sessions with the team. Emma, Theresa, Elaina, Perla, and formerly Harrison, the PT crew, were all excellent at guiding, challenging, communicating, and listening to where I was on my recovery journey. Josh was fantastic! He did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and any discomfort that I might experience. As a nurse, I appreciate this bedside manner and how matter of fact he was. Already booked my next appointment before leaving!
