Just had my first massage session, with Janice at the Magnolia location. She had a very calm and relaxing demeanor, was very respectful throughout the process, and provided the perfect amount of pressure. A very special perk was getting a hot towel treatment mid massage! Wow! Can’t wait for my next session. Loved the environment too. I recommend allocating extra time to shop at their store 👀
As a former bodyworker, I am particular about the massage I receive, and the therapists I have seen so far at Unravel have been wonderful. Aspen's work is very firm and flowy. Janice does great trigger point, shoulder and neck work. I'm looking forward to my next massage at Unravel!
For the price, it’s not worth it. Is it a pleasant environment, nice staff, and relaxing, yes? But I needed relief from a massage this pricey, not just relaxation, and I got no relief whatsoever. I’m continually disappointed by traditional spa and massage spots that don’t take requests for deep tissue seriously. I’d recommend they start asking more/better questions of the client/patient to understand if they’re looking for just some R&R or true relief, if they want to fall asleep during their massage or do some deep breathing while really getting at some knots, when you say deep tissue do you know what that means?
