I recently moved to West Seattle and was well Overdue for a haircut. I didn't have any good referrals but some research on local salons and barbers led me to give Shane a try in West Seattle Salon. I could not have been happier with the entire experience. The salon itself is an older Seattle home successfully converted into an open welcoming salon. The shampoo room is a quiet spa like space at the back where the room is wonderfully scented from the Davines products are used. Shane was welcoming and clearly understood exactly what I wanted, he transformed my overgrown head of hair perfectly and I was at ease with him right away with both his professional and personal demeanor blended together seamlessly. Honestly, it all excelled my expectations so much and I am thrilled to have found a spot to call "my" spot so quickly in my new home.
Hair type: My hair is very dry and coarse; Zack was able to tone, relax, and moisturize it where it is refreshed and perfect....

Thank goodness I found Psalm. She is invested, curious about my hair (and me!), and soooo good at her job! I went from having super fried bleached hair to having a sassy healthy styled cut. Love this spot and love Psalm.
