We had a very positive experience with the service and final product of their work which included two clean and safe chimneys. Additionally, we had them assess the quality of the rooftop masonry work and unlike the other TWO companies that we had come out for estimates, Mad Hatter gave us a fair and accurate quote for the scope of work that needed to be done.
Had a fire in my chimney back in January and the gang came out and did an inspection and all the repair work needed. They were on time, on budget (even below budget!), and had fantastic customer service with great suggestions on how to keep my chimney clean throughout the year. Great people offering a great service!
My chimney was in terrible shape. It had about a 2 inch opening up the chimney which caused the smoke to billow back into the stove and room. I called for an appointment in January , explaining the situation and also that I had pneumonia. Natalie came out that same day after her last appointment! Turned out it needed chemical treatment to dissolve the rock hard tar stuff.Jay and Natalie have been coming weekly working on it and it is now clean right down to the metal liner. No question, I would highly recommend Mad Hatter. They will do the job right.
